Google’s Pixel 10a is listed at Amazon.ca as a “Limited-time deal,” 22% below the list price Amazon shows for the phone, checked at 6:20 pm ET on 23 September 2026.

What it is

According to Google’s own product page for the Pixel 10a, the phone has a 6.3-inch Actua display behind Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, a Tensor G4 chip with 8 GB of RAM, and a choice of 128 GB or 256 GB of storage. The rear camera is a pair of lenses, 48 MP wide and 13 MP ultrawide, with up to 8x zoom. The same page gives the phone IP68 water and dust protection and says it will “Outlast the day with 30+ hours on one charge or up to 120 hours with Extreme Battery Saver.” The unit on offer is the Obsidian colour with 128 GB of storage.

Why this price is notable

The “Limited-time deal” label is Amazon’s own, and the 22% is measured against the list price Amazon shows for the phone. Google is running the same reduction on its own store: the Google Store page for the 10a shows the same saving against the same list price, so the Amazon offer matches the maker’s price rather than beating it. Amazon publishes no end time for the deal, and its deals page carries a banner announcing that Prime Big Deal Days will run on 6 and 7 October.

Who it suits — and who should skip it

The 10a suits buyers who want Google’s camera and software without paying for the top Pixel models, and Google’s page promises “Seven years of security and useful OS updates” for it. The IP68 rating covers rain and spills. Anyone who wants a telephoto lens should look higher up the range: Google’s comparison chart gives the next tier an “Advanced triple rear camera” with a telephoto lens, where the 10a stops at two lenses.

What to check before you buy

Google’s own hardware warranty page for Canada gives new phones “one year from the date of original retail purchase.” Amazon.ca’s returns help page states that “most items can be returned for a refund or replacement/exchange within 30 days of delivery as long as they are in original or unused condition,” and asks buyers who have saved personal information on a device to “erase this information completely by following manufacturer instructions” first. Because Google sells the 10a in two storage sizes, the listing’s colour and capacity are worth checking before paying.

Alternatives

Google’s own store lists the rest of this generation alongside the 10a: the Pixel 11, the Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL, and the folding Pixel 11 Pro Fold. The comparison row for that tier shows a 12 GB RAM Tensor G5 chip against the 10a’s 8 GB and Tensor G4. None of them is part of this Amazon offer, and Nordprix did not check prices for them.
